We are pleased to share the news that our colleagues in the Legal department were awarded two major awards 1. General Counsel of the Year Middle East 2. Legal Department of the Year Middle East, from prestigious Legal Era Middle East Law Awards 2023.

The ceremony held in Dubai on November 16, 2023 was attended by, Mr. Hamza Al-Shaheen, Mr. Mohammad Manauar, Mrs. Lydie Traore, Ms. Malak H. Jamalallail, Ms. Mayar M. Bafakieh, and Mohammed Jamil attended the event.  The team were “Finalist” in four categories;

•            Legal Department of the Year – Small Team

•            Middle East In-House Team of the Year

•            General Counsel of the Year – Small Team

•            Young Achiever of the Year – Mohammad Manauar

The legal team presented the awards to our GCEO and thanked the GCEO for his vison leadership and example.   The legal team would like to” thank each and every colleague from the GCEO all the way to our customer facing colleagues, it is with your support and on your behalf, we collect these awards”.

Legal Era awards represent the most highly sought-after testament to proficiency within the legal profession and are awarded, after undertaking thorough and comprehensive research to evaluate the prominent In-house lawyers, regional and domestic law firms in the Middle East.  The findings were then submitted to a panel of distinguished judges, consisting of accomplished and independent experts from the legal industry and academia. They analyzed the data and generated impartial rankings. Thereafter the top-performing finalists underwent an additional layer of rigorous scrutiny to decide the winners.
