Salman Saadat is a global executive with more than three decades of leadership experience across the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. As Chief Executive Officer of Petrolube, he oversees operations across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Pakistan, and Egypt, leading the company’s evolution into a regionally integrated and globally competitive lubricants and specialty fluids powerhouse. His approach is rooted in disciplined growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Petrolube, Salman served as Chief Transformation Officer at Nghi Son Refining & Petrochemical LLC in Vietnam, where he led complex enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. He previously spent over 30 years at Chevron Corporation, holding senior leadership roles including Country Chairman & General Manager for Thailand, General Manager Operations – Asia Pacific, and General Manager – Lubricants South & Central Africa, managing multi-country organizations through scale, volatility, and change.

Salman’s leadership philosophy is grounded in accountability, safety, and peopledevelopment. He believes strong performance is built on empowered teams, clear governance, and decisions guided by integrity and data. He prioritizes developing future leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and aligning strategy with execution.

He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Under his leadership, Petrolube continues to expand globally with a strong focus on digital transformation, portfolio innovation, ESG integration, and operational excellence—advancing Petromin’s broader sustainability agenda while building resilient, future-ready businesses.
